Abstract Guidelines

Only those poster abstracts submitted by deadline will be included in the Horizons 2022 booklet. Depending on the number of submissions there may be a maximum number of poster slots that we can accommodate. In that case, the first-come, first-served strategy will be followed.

You will receive a confirmation of your poster abstract acceptance by email.

Abstracts can be ONLY submitted online during the registration process via the registration form. Abstract submission by email is not possible. Each participant can submit only one abstract.

The following guidelines apply to every application. Please:

  • Write the abstract in English.
  • Structure your abstract in the following way: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Main text.
  • Do not write in paragraphs.
  • Do not include any figures and tables.
  • Do not include any references in the abstract or following it.
  • Maximal length: 2000 characters including spaces.
  • Minimal length: 1000 characters including spaces.

The application will not be considered if any of the criteria are not met. The abstract will not be proofread or corrected, so please check everything carefully before submitting it.
